How to Get 4K HDR Streaming on Older Smart TVs (Without Buying a New TV)

You bought a 55-inch 4K TV in 2017 or 2018. The screen is still beautiful — 4K panel resolution, good color reproduction. But the built-in Smart TV operating system is now 7 years old, the apps crash, and the available media player apps don't support modern streaming credentials. The solution is not buying a new TV.
