Televo Not Working? Troubleshooting Guide

If Televo IPTV has stopped playing, freezes, buffers or will not load, work through these checks in order. Most take a minute or two, and they are the same first steps support will ask about.

1. Check your internet connection

IPTV streams over your broadband, so start here.

  • Open another streaming app or a website on the same device. If that is also slow or not loading, the problem is the connection rather than Televo IPTV.
  • Run a speed test on the device you watch on, over the same Wi-Fi or cable.
  • On Wi-Fi, bring the device and router closer together, or use a wired Ethernet connection if your device has a port.
  • Pause large downloads, game updates and other streams on the same network.

2. Restart the app and the device

  • Fully close the player app rather than just returning to the home screen, then reopen it.
  • Restart the device. For a Fire TV Stick or Android box, unplug it from the power for 30 seconds.
  • Check your device’s app store for an update to the player app.

3. Restart your router

Unplug the router for 30 seconds, plug it back in, and wait until its lights settle (usually two to three minutes) before trying again.

4. Check whether only one device is affected

If you can, try the service on a second device. If it works there, the problem is most likely the first device or its app.

  • Clear the app’s cache. On Android and Fire TV this is under Settings, Applications, then the app.
  • Make sure the device has free storage space.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app if it keeps crashing.

5. Check your subscription details

  • Check your plan is still within its period. A subscription that has reached its end date stops working.
  • Check your login details are entered exactly as sent to you, including capital letters and with no extra spaces.

6. If only one channel or programme is affected

If everything else plays normally, the problem may be temporary and limited to that one stream. Try again a little later, and tell support which one it is if it continues.

Buffering or poor picture quality

Buffering usually means the connection cannot keep up at that moment. A wired connection, fewer devices using the network, and a router restart are the most effective fixes. If you use a VPN, try turning it off to see whether it is slowing your connection.
